Here’s my story …

When I was just a little kitten, my name was Diamond, and I lived at an animal shelter. My mommy Carmela came to the shelter, and she thought I was adorable. I was too little to stay with her forever, so she took me home to “foster” me. I met my foster brother, Conway Kitty. We got along really well. When I was big enough to find my furever home, Carmela just couldn’t let me go. She adopted me herself, and changed my name to Loretta Lynn. In case you didn’t know Conway Twitty and Loretta Lynn were famous married country singers when my mommy was younger.

Now, Conway Kitty was the shiest of kitties, and I was the most playful of kittens. I helped Conway become the loving kitty that he is today. We were inseparable, and the best of friends.

Unfortunately, my mommy had a stroke last year, and she wasn’t able to pull through. My life suddenly hung in the balance. Where would I go? Would I be separated from my brother? I was already lost without my mommy, and a separation from my brother would have been the worst thing for me. But, who would want to take in two very sad, grieving kitties?

Thankfully, my mommy’s best friend Cindy came to my rescue. She was missing her best friend so much, already. And she figured what better way to honor and remember her best friend than to adopt her fur children? Now, I live with my new mommy and my brother, and I couldn’t be happier.
