Here’s my story ...

Grinch came to us from a high kill shelter. They knew we did pretty well with angry little scared dogs, and asked if we would take on a vicious little chihuahua mix. He was transported to us in a crate wrapped with caution tape and let all the world know he was mad. He spent the first night growling and snarling in my bathroom, but by morning he came over and asked to be picked up. He still isn’t good with new people and can be super cranky, but this little guy has been learning that we love him (good thing) and as he had learned to play ball and tug of war with his dog siblings and to trust us completely, we see him getting sweeter and sweeter. Angry dogs are most often just dogs that have given up on being loved and treated right.
