Here’s my story ...

Kiwi came to our house one day. She looked sad and alone! She was on a leash with a lady that was pulling her into the house. I was only five but I remember that look on her face of pure fear. Two weeks after we got her she was hiding everywhere! we had to get treats to try to coax her out but she kept hanging her head and hiding because she was scared that’s what dogs do when they are scared sometimes. We gave her some food and water but she was still scared we thought she could have been abused in the past. It took three more years!!! But she finally warmed up. After five years she is a very lovable dog and loves to lick our faces when we wake up.
