Survey Results

Shady Pets was originally launched on Kickstarter in October, 2019. With over 1,000 backers and 2,500 units shipped (game boxes and octopuses), here are the results of the post campaign survey. 107 customer surveys received.

Overall Game Rating:

We love this score! 64% gave the game 5 stars and 25% gave the game 4 stars so by our math 89% of our survey respondents ‘Love It’! We created our ‘Love It” rating by combining the 4 and 5 star ratings together. Of course, there’s always a few people who hate everything, hence the 2% for 1 and 2 stars.

First Impression – The Box: 4.48/5

This question related to customer’s first impression of the product, the product packaging, the opening of the box, basically everything before playing the game. Not too shabby!

Age Appropriate: 4.4/5

We wanted to make sure that kids who are 7 or older are capable of playing the game (Original Version, of course). We did get a few comments that the 7 or 8 year olds had a little difficulty keeping their cards in their hands or staying focused. Yet, by 9 or 10 there were no issues at all.

Delivery Experience: 4.6/5

We did have a few delays with about 10% of our shipments. We apologized for the situation in which we got stuck in the middle of the Chinese New Year and the beginning of the Coronavirus outbreak. This slowed us down a little but 90% of the orders were delivered in January.
