Alright, alright. I confess.

Yeah, I slept in the laundry pile… more than once.

I slept in there when the laundry was clean and moulted all over everything. I hid in there when the laundry was dirty and almost became part of the spin cycle. Whaddaya want me to say? I can smell everyone in the house on those clothes. It’s comforting.

I know you bought me that fancy new dog bed and I ain’t never slept in it once. I admit it, okay? I don’t like that thing. What was wrong with the old one? I had it all torn and chewed up just the way I liked.

And there was the other thing too, when I, you know, dragged the sweater—yeah, I know, your favorite sweater—all through the yard and snuggled up with it for an afternoon nap. What was I supposed to do? You were out all freaking day, I thought youz was gone for good. I wanted something to remember you by.

Anyway, ya got me. I’ll take the wrap for all of it.

So, we all good? We buddies again? Great. I appreciate it.
